The Huron Valley Woodturners will be meeting at the Crossroads Community Center at 5501 Webster Church Rd., Dexter, MI 48130. While the official start time is 1 p.m., the doors should be open by 12:45 p.m.. As usual, we will have a brief safety discussion, show-and-tell with Q and A, and a raffle. The main focus of the meeting will be a discussion of “Work in progress.” Please bring in either unfinished or recently-completed lathe-based work. The intent is to discuss your work process, and address questions makers may have regarding completion of the project. This should be especially useful for less-experienced turners, but everyone can learn from this.
